| Michael Hood is the Managing Director of The Sandi Group, (TSG) with a demonstrated track record in identifying and executing new business models in financial acquisitions sector, financial , real estate acquisitions, land development, interactive entertainment and new technology sector. Mr. Hood is a pioneer in assessing market trends and business operations, including optimum distribution methods and channel operations to gain immediate understanding of challenges and opportunities. Before joining TSG, he was the Director and Sr. Vice-President of Acquisitions and Development for Transwestern Commercial Services, Florida; the largest privately held nationally known real estate services company in the United States and Canada delivering services to its national and regional clients. During his tenure at Transwestern, Mr. Hood completed acquisitions totaling more than $900 million dollars for TCS in areas of hotel, commercial office and retail, heavy and light industrial parks and commerce development sites. Mr. Hood was also the co-founder and former Chief Executive Officer of Advanced Data Center, Inc. (ADC), a Florida and Southeast US based managed service provider. ADC became the single largest integration partner and secured data facility specialist of BELLSOUTH NYSE, (BSC) Telecommunications for various US Government Agencies and other fortune 500 companies. Mr. Hood also served two years on the BELLSOUTH NYSE, (BSC) Steering Committee Board of Directors Florida. Prior to ADC, Mr. Hood was the Executive Director for Societe BankHouse, a private merchant banking financial wealth management establishment. At Bankhouse he was responsible for establishing a new division of BankHouse focusing on Market Capitalization of companies in power generation and oil & gas for Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean basin. Mr. Hood also served as Director of Combined Technologies, Inc., a division of (RDS) Royal Dutch Shell Oil Company, specializing in modular refinery technologies, pipeline distribution, port facilities designs and downstream operations. Mr. Hood earned his Bachelors degree in Political Science and his Masters degree in International Relations and Foreign Affairs from the University of Florida. He also attended the Sloan School of Management at MIT and successfully completed his International Business Management and Finance studies for Corporate Executives. Mr. Hood has also completed various banking and finance courses throughout his career and is fluent in six languages. | ||
