Mr. Ford is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with over 30 years of extensive experience in managing all aspects of international and corporate large-scale projects from the initial proposal/conceptual design phases through construction, operational testing, start-up and full project handover.  He brings with him proven success in overseeing the design, construction, and delivery of electrical substations, distribution and stand-by power generation systems, government and military facilities, commercial facilities, and high-end luxury residential buildings and developments in the United States and abroad.  Prior to joining The Sandi Group, he was a Senior Development Manager for Nakheel International in Dubai, UAE. His primary responsibility was overseeing a budget of $1billion for Phase 4 of the internationally acclaimed Dubai Waterfront development.  He also managed a multi-million dollar budget for the construction and completion of 1,844 Luxury Villas on the world-famous Palm Jumeirah.  He has successfully overseen numerous large-scale U.S. Department of Energy construction projects, valued in excess of $250M, while employed for Bechtel, Lockheed Martin, and EG&G, Inc. in the United States, and brings with him extensive expertise in the areas of: strategic planning and leadership; program planning and management; feasibility and cost analysis; project estimating and budgeting; MEP design review and oversight; electrical load forecasting; site assessment and construction; risk mitigation and cost control; operational readiness and full operation assessment reviews; safety and regulatory adherence, and team and subcontractor management. Mr. Ford holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Idaho and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering/Power Option degree from Brigham Young University.
