MAGPLANE

The Magplane System was initially developed by the
prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology
(MIT) and further advanced in cooperation with major
industrial and engineering partners.

Interlocking metropolitan areas, existing
metropolises and new regional cities to be linked
into constellations of cohesive urban systems, with
high-speed transit systems such as the Magplane
system serving as the transportation backbones.
Pilot project in Lakeland, Florida.

To relieve overpopulation and traffic congestion of its eastern seaboard, China plans to build as many as 40 new cities annually over the next decade. China has chosen the Magplane System as part of its plan to construct more than 7,000 km or 4,300 miles of new transit infrastructure. Noiseless, vibration-less, and pollution-less operation as well as lower capital, operational and maintenance costs will make Magplane the next revolution in transportation.

• Ground-breaking magnetic levitation and propulsion
• Maximum speed of 500 km per hour or 300 mph
• High capacity of up to 30,000 passengers, per hour per direction

Magplane was designed to provide cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution to today’s intra- and intercity transportation challenges.
